Irish Aquatics is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for each of our athletes at all practices, meets, and social functions sponsored by the team. Below you will find team specific policies designed to keep our athletes safe as well as resources from USA Swimming and the Center for Safe Sport. Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy (MAAPP)

MAAPP Parent Acknowledgement To be signed by every family each competition year (September through August) and a copy retained by the club.

MAAPP Exception Waivers

Repeated Practice Transportation - Must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of any minor athlete who will be transported to or from practice by an unrelated adult participant. The waiver must be signed each season that the transportation arrangements will be in place. The club will retain a copy of the signed waiver.

Single Instance Transportation Must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of any minor athlete who will be transported an unrelated adult participant for each single instance and for each adult participant. For repeated travel to practice, please fill out the Repeated Practice Transportation waiver.

Lodging with Unrelated Adult Athlete Must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of any minor athlete who will share lodging with an unrelated adult athlete at a team travel competition. The waiver must be signed for all competitions that the lodging arrangements will be in effect and is only valid for that competition. The club will retain a copy of the signed waiver.

Massage Therapist/Athletic Trainer - Must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of any minor athlete who will receive care or treatment by a team provided massage therapist or athletic trainer. The club will retain a copy of the signed waiver. 

Mental Health Care/Health Care Professional Must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of any minor athlete who will receive care or treatment by a team provided mental health care profession or other health care professional. The club will retain a copy of the signed waiver.
